DRIVER BOX storage facility is designed for the storage of flat and sheet material, e.g. metal sheets. The device has pull-out planes "drawers". The movement of the stacking planes is possible manually or by means of electric drives.

The pull-out storage box is composed of three basic structural units - the box, the box door and the drawers. The skeleton of the box is a welded construction, complete with winding elements, structural elements for fixing the door and anchoring the box to the floor. The box door is made up of welded construction of two wings, structural elements for securing the travel of the extension and securing the door in position. The extension is a welded structure with structural elements for securing the travel and allowing suitable storage of material. The pull-out storage box can be put into two standard positions - basic ("drawers" retracted) or working ("drawers" extended). The travel position of the pull-out is limited by the end stops for travel on the door leaves. The travel is also limited in the direction of the stacker when retracting. The box extensions can be supplemented with cross beams on the top surface to ensure that the stored stack of boards is raised against the extension structure. This increase in stored material can be used to handle, for example, a bale of sheet metal with a forklift truck. The individual sheets of stored material can be removed manually or by a crane with a suitable attachment from the drawer, which is in the working position.

Description of operation
When manually manipulating the drawers, the operator manually extends the drawer to the working position and back to the base position. At the extreme limits, the subsequent movement is stopped by mechanical stops. Manual operation is common up to a lifting capacity of 3000 kg. In the electric version, the movement of the drawworks is provided by electric drives. The control of the slides is controlled by buttons located on a small switchboard next to the Driverbox. Stopping in the extreme positions is automatic by limit switches and mechanical stops.
